University Act Article 6

Universities may form university systems or set up inter-university research centers in conjunction with other universities.The regulations governing matters pertaining to the organization and operations of the university systems referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the Ministry of Education.The regulations governing matters pertaining to the organization and operations of the inter-university research centers shall be jointly formulated by the universities involved and submitted to the Ministry of Education for reference.

大學得跨校組成大學系統或成立研究中心。
前項大學系統之組織及運作等事項之辦法，由教育部定之。
