Education Act for Indigenous Peoples Article 19

Local governments shall set up indigenous education resource centers, essentially task-organizing in nature, to handle research and promotion of courses, teaching materials, and teaching methods for indigenous education and to assist the schools under their jurisdiction to develop ethnic education curriculum plans and evaluation methods suitable for the local indigenous peoples, and deal with other indigenous education matters.The funding required for the indigenous education resource centers referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be separately listed by the central competent education authority and by the central competent indigenous peoples’ affairs authority as a budget item for discretionary subsidies.
