Regulations of the Operation and Management of National Defense Technology Institutions by Private Entities Article 34
Paragraph (1)In order to combine powers from different levels for joint promotion of the works prescribed in these Rules, and to implement the development of the national defense technology industry and facilitate to achieve the goal for establishment of the national self-defense, the Executive Yuan may establish a steering committee to undertake the following tasks:Subparagraph (1)Preparing related projects with respect to the promotion of the commissioned operation of the National Defense Technology Institutes or its property and facilities.Subparagraph (2)Investigating and establishing the information relating to the capacity of the National Defense Technology Institutes in research and development, production and manufacturing or maintenance and repair.Subparagraph (3)Coordinating the suggestions and opinions with respect to the assessment, planning, and execution of the commissioned operation by the National Defense Technology Institutes.Subparagraph (4)Coordinating other matters relating to the national defense technology industry.Paragraph (2)The key points for establishing the steering committee as referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the Executive Yuan.

為有效結合各界力量共同推行本辦法所定工作，落實國防科技工業發展，加速達成建設自主國防之目標，得由行政院設置推動委員會，辦理下列事項：
一、研擬促進科技工業機構或財產設施委託經營推動有關方案。
二、科技工業機構研發、產製或維修能力資料之調查及建立。
三、科技工業機構委託經營個案評估規劃執行建議及意見之協調與配合事項。
四、協調其他有關國防科技工業事項。
前項之推動委員會設置要點，由行政院訂定之。
