Paragraph (1)The purpose of advanced education is to improve military officers and Non-commissioned officers’ professional capabilities.Paragraph (2)The course specifics, student requirements, duration and degree awarded in the military advance courses and military occupation specialty courses have to be approved by MND.

進修教育以增進現職國軍軍官及士官官科專業（專長）學能為宗旨；於軍事學校或軍事訓練機構依官科或職類分設正規班、專業（專長）班辦理之，並得協調專科以上學校辦理進修。
前項正規班、專業（專長）班之設立與課程標準、學員資格、修業期限及授予軍事學資等事項，由國防部定之。
