Act of Merit for Officers and Noncommissioned Officers of the Armed Forces Article 2
The evaluations conducted in accordance with this Act are divided as follows:1. Annual evaluation: The evaluation is conducted at the end of each year based on the performance from January to December.2. Additional evaluation: The evaluation is conducted within same evaluating year for persons who have taken their positions for less one year but has continued to work for six months. However, where special circumstances apply, continued employment may not be a required criterion for the evaluation.The scope of special circumstances prescribed in the proviso in Subparagraph 2 of the preceding paragraph shall be specified in the Act.

本條例考績區分如下：
一、年終考績：於每年年終辦理其當年一月至十二月連續任職期間之考績。
二、另予考績：於同一考績年度內，任職不滿一年，而連續任職已達六個月者辦理之考績。
但有特殊情形者，得不以連續任職為必要。
前項第二款但書所定特殊情形之範圍，於本條例施行細則定之。
