Act of Merit for Officers and Noncommissioned Officers of the Armed Forces Article 1
The evaluation of the Officers, Non Commissioned Officers whose ranks are lower than the Lieutenant General is base on this Act.The evaluation of the Reserved Ranking Officers, Reserved Non Commission Officers that are required to serve in the military of no more than three years is instituted separately by the Ministry of National Defense, and is not included in this Act.

陸海空軍現役中將以下軍官、士官之考績，依本條例行之。
預備軍官、預備士官規定服役期限不逾三年者，由國防部另定考核辦法行之，不適用本條例。
