Regulations Governing the Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Article 10
The Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs shall be responsible for the following:1. Handle affairs concerning the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Cuba2. Handle affairs concerning the countries of Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay3. Handle affairs concerning the countries of the Bahamas, Belize, Grenada, Dominica, Saint Christopher and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Haiti, Antigua, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname, French Guiana, and as-yet not independent islands of the Caribbean4. Handle affairs concerning Latin American and Caribbean regional organizations, economic and technical cooperation, and fishing vessel incidents5. Other affairs concerning Latin America and the Caribbean

拉丁美洲及加勒比海司掌理事項如下：
一、對墨西哥、瓜地馬拉、宏都拉斯、薩爾瓦多、尼加拉瓜、哥斯大黎加、多明尼加及古巴等國事務。
二、對巴拿馬、哥倫比亞、委內瑞拉、巴西、厄瓜多、秘魯、玻利維亞、智利、阿根廷、巴拉圭及烏拉圭等國事務。
三、對巴哈馬、貝里斯、格瑞那達、多米尼克、聖克里斯多福及尼維斯、聖露西亞、聖文森、海地、安地卡、牙買加、巴貝多、千里達、蓋亞那、蘇利南等國及法屬蓋亞那等加勒比海尚未獨立各島事務。
四、對拉丁美洲及加勒比海地區區域性國際組織事務、經濟與技術合作及漁船遇難事務。
五、其他有關拉丁美洲及加勒比海地區事項。
