Regulations Governing Immigration Inspection and Data Collection and Utilization Article 6
A resident of Macau or Hong Kong shall carry valid documents listed below for inspection when entering the State, and the NIA shall imprint an entry stamp on his/her travel document(s) after the inspection is completed:1. A valid entry and exit permit;2. A Hong Kong or Macau passport that is valid for at least three months. ARC and Residency Entry and Exit Permit holders shall carry valid passports.3. A return aircraft /vessel ticket or ticket to next destination if required by the law;4. A completed arrival card (not required for the ARC holders and others promulgated by the NIA).

香港或澳門居民入國，應備下列有效證件，經移民署查驗相符者，於其入出境許可證件內加蓋入國查驗章戳後入國：
一、有效之入出境許可證件。
二、有效期間三個月以上之香港或澳門護照。
但持臺灣地區居留證、臺灣地區居留入出境證者，得以有效護照查驗入國。
三、依規定須檢附訂妥機（船）位之回程或次一目的地機（船）票者，應檢附訂妥機（船）位之回程或次一目的地機（船）票。
四、填妥之入國登記表。
但持有中華民國居留證或其他經移民署認定公告者，免予填繳。
一、有效之入出境許可證件。
二、有效期間三個月以上之香港或澳門護照。
但持臺灣地區居留證、臺灣地區居留入出境證者，得以有效護照查驗入國。
三、依規定須檢附訂妥機（船）位之回程或次一目的地機（船）票者，應檢附訂妥機（船）位之回程或次一目的地機（船）票。
四、填妥之入國登記表。
但持有中華民國居留證或其他經移民署認定公告者，免予填繳。
