Outdoor hydrant shall be equipped in the following places:1.High risk working place of which the total floor area of the first floor and the second floor and storage area of the building is over 3,000 m2.2.Moderate risk working place or the total floor area of the first floor and the second floor and storage area of the building is over 5,000m2.3.Low risk working place of which total floor area of the first floor and the second floor and storage area of the building is over 10,000m2.4.For workplaces not reaching standards of the above three Subparagraphs, the summation of the quotient is greater than 1 when dividing the actual area of the respective place with the specified area.5.For 2 or more wooden or flammable structures in the same building base where the outer wall of the building is within a 3 m horizontal distance from the centerline at the first floor and a 5m distance at the second floor, and the total floor area of the first and the second floor is over 3000m2.In the above-mentioned places where an outdoor hydrant is required, when fire extinguishing systems such as automatic sprinklers, water mist, foam, carbon dioxide, inert gas, halocarbon, or dry powder, etc. are provided as per this Standard, an

下列場所應設置室外消防栓設備：
一、高度危險工作場所，其建築物及儲存場所之第一層及第二層樓地板面積合計在三千平方公尺以上者。
二、中度危險工作場所，其建築物及儲存場所之第一層及第二層樓地板面積合計在五千平方公尺以上者。
三、低度危險工作場所，其建築物及儲存場所之第一層及第二層樓地板面積合計在一萬平方公尺以上者。
四、如有不同危險程度工作場所未達前三款規定標準，而以各款場所之實際面積為分子，各款規定之面積為分母，分別計算，其比例之總和大於一者。
五、同一建築基地內有二棟以上木造或其他易燃構造建築物時，建築物間外牆與中心線水平距離第一層在三公尺以下，第二層在五公尺以下，且合計各棟第一層及第二層樓地板面積在三千平方公尺以上者。
前項應設室外消防栓設備之場所，依本標準設有自動撒水、水霧、泡沫、二氧化碳、惰性氣體、鹵化烴或乾粉等滅火設備者，在該有效範圍內，得免設室外消防栓設備。
