Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 123
Photoelectrical separated detectors shall comply with the following provisions:1.The light-receiving surface of detector shall be located under the sunshine.2.The detector shall be installed at the position 60cm or farther away from the wall parallel to the optical axis of the detector.3.Photoreceptor and photo-transmitter of detector shall be located within 1m from the back wall.4.The detector shall be installed on ceilings and other locations with a height less than 20m.5.The optical axis of a detector shall have a height not less than 80% of that of the ceiling and others.6.The optical axis of a detector may not be longer than the nominal supervising distance of the detector.7.The distance between the optical axis of the detector and the alert area shall be not more than 7m.The above-mentioned optical axis of detector refers to the line from the center of light-receiving face to the center of light-transmitting surface.

光電式分離型探測器，依下列規定設置：
一、探測器之受光面設在無日光照射之處。
二、設在與探測器光軸平行牆壁距離六十公分以上之位置。
三、探測器之受光器及送光器，設在距其背部牆壁一公尺範圍內。
四、設在天花板等高度二十公尺以下之場所。
五、探測器之光軸高度，在天花板等高度百分之八十以上之位置。
六、探測器之光軸長度，在該探測器之標稱監視距離以下。
七、探測器之光軸與警戒區任一點之水平距離，在七公尺以下。
前項探測器之光軸，指探測器受光面中心點與送光面中心點之連結線。
一、探測器之受光面設在無日光照射之處。
二、設在與探測器光軸平行牆壁距離六十公分以上之位置。
三、探測器之受光器及送光器，設在距其背部牆壁一公尺範圍內。
四、設在天花板等高度二十公尺以下之場所。
五、探測器之光軸高度，在天花板等高度百分之八十以上之位置。
六、探測器之光軸長度，在該探測器之標稱監視距離以下。
