Police Personnel Management Act Article 10
The age of initial appointment of police officers shall not exceed the following limits:1. Police Sergeant: 40 years old.2. Police Superintendent: 45 years old.3. Police General: 50 years old.The age limits do not apply to those who are appointed to a higher rank through promotion.
