Social Order Maintenance Act Article 31
Police authorities shall not interrogate, punish, and refer to the court the person whose offense against this Act has occurred more than two months ago.The calculation of the period specified in the preceding paragraph shall commence from the day the offense against this Act is committed. For a successive or continuous offense however, it shall commence from the day when the offense ends.

違反本法行為，逾二個月者，警察機關不得訊問、處罰，並不得移送法院。
前項期間，自違反本法行為成立之日起算。
但其行為有連續或繼續之狀態者，自行為終了之日起算。
