Self-defense Guns Control Act Article 1
All guns for self-defense use by individuals and legally established organizations and institutions shall be regulated in accordance with this Act.Regulations governing the possession of self-defense guns by active duty military personnel, as well as applications for the inspection and licensing, alteration, disposal, requisition of such firearms, and other relevant matters for active duty military personnel shall be prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense.

凡人民及依法成立之機關團體之自衛槍枝，依本條例管理之。
現役軍人自衛槍枝持有、申請查驗給照、異動、處分、徵借及其他應遵行事項之管理辦法，由國防部定之。
