Regulations on Preferential Sale and Lease of Dwelling Houses in New Towns Article 3
Upon applying for preferential purchase or renting of dwelling houses, the so-called "families obtaining employment in new towns" in Article 23 of the Act shall meet the following conditions:1. At least one member of the same household has reached the age of civil majority and has worked in the range of a new town for over 6 months.2. Other members in the same household as mentioned above, do not have any self-owned dwelling houses in the new town and contiguous Townships (cities and districts).

本條例第二十三條所稱新市鎮就業家庭，於申請優先承購、承租住宅時，應具備下列各款條件：
一、同一戶籍內成員之一已成年，且於新市鎮範圍內就業六個月以上者。
二、與前款同一戶籍內之成員，於該新市鎮所在及相鄰鄉（鎮、市、區）內均無自有住宅之家庭。
