Sewerage Act Article 6
The competent authority for a county shall handle the following matters:1.Plan and perform the county's sewer construction.2.Set up the county's sewerage regulations,3.Manage the county’s sewer.4.Supervise and guide the construction and management of the sewerage system in the county.5.Other matters concerning county sewerage.The provisions of Subparagraph 1 to 3 and Subparagraph 5 in the preceding Paragraph shall apply mutatis mutandis to the sewers of the provincial city by its competent authorities.

縣主管機關辦理左列事項：
一、縣下水道建設之規劃及實施。
二、縣下水道單行規章之訂定。
三、縣屬下水道之管理。
四、鄉（鎮、市）下水道建設與管理之監督及輔導。
五、其他有關縣下水道事宜。
省轄市下水道，由省轄市主管機關準用前項第一款至第三款及第五款之規定辦理。
