Geographic names shall be divided into the following categories, assigned geographic name codes and catalogued for file management by the jurisdictional competent authorities.1. 各級主管機關對轄內之地名應依下列類別分類，編列地名編號，編製目錄建檔管理：

前項地名資料應以中文表示，其格式如附表。
