The term “leaving the country” mentioned in this Regulation means leaving Taiwan Area.The aforementioned Taiwan Area refers to the Taiwan Area stipulated by Paragraph 1, Article 2 of the Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area.

本辦法所稱出境，指離開臺灣地區。
前項臺灣地區，指臺灣地區與大陸地區人民關係條例第二條第一款所定之臺灣地區。
