Presidential and Vice Presidential Election and Recall Act Article 73
The Central Election Commission shall hold the recall vote within sixty days from the day after receipt of the statement detailing the reasons for the recall and the statement of defense transferred from the Legislative Yuan. If other votes or elections are to be held during this same period, voting for all shall take place at the same time.If the person subject to recall dies, leaves office, or resigns before election day, the Central Election Commission shall issue public notice of the termination of the recall.

罷免案之投票，中央選舉委員會應於收到立法院移送之罷免理由書及答辯書次日起六十日內為之。
該期間內有其他各類選舉時，應同時舉行投票。
被罷免人於投票日前死亡、去職或辭職者，中央選舉委員會應即公告停止該項罷免。
