Presidential and Vice Presidential Election and Recall Act Article 27
The following persons shall not be permitted to apply to be registered as a candidate for president or vice president:1. Members of the armed forces who are on active duty2. Personnel handling election affairs3. Persons with a foreign nationality4. Persons who, under the provisions of other laws, are prohibited from registering as a candidateActive-duty members of the armed forces who were mustered from the reserves, have not yet been sworn into military service, or were mustered from education, service, or military drills shall not be included under Subparagraph 1 of the preceding paragraph.If the final decision of a court declares an election to be void due to any reason prescribed in Subparagraphs 2 and 3 of Paragraph 1 of Article 104, the elected candidates shall not be permitted to apply for registration as a candidate for president or vice president in the by-election.

下列人員不得申請登記為總統、副總統候選人：
一、現役軍人。
二、辦理選舉事務人員。
三、具有外國國籍者。
四、依其他法律規定不得登記為候選人者。
前項第一款之現役軍人，屬於後備軍人應召者，在應召未入營前，或係受教育、勤務及點閱召集，均不受限制。
同一組當選人因第一百零四條第一項第二款、第三款所定情事之一，經法院同時判決當選無效確定者，不得申請登記為該次總統、副總統補選候選人。
