Act for the Establishment and Administration of the Security Fund for Police Officers, Firefighters, Coast Guard Personnel, Immigration Officers, Air Crews and Volunteer Forces Article 7

The Committee shall consist of nine to fifteen members, including a convener who shall be the head of the competent authority and serves as the committee’s external representative, and a vice-convener who shall be the deputy chief of the competent authority. Other seats on the Committee positions shall be filled by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statics, Deputy Director-General of the Coast Guard Administration, Deputy Director-General of National Police Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, Deputy Director-General of National Fire Agency, Deputy Director-General of National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, and Deputy Captain of the National Airborne Service Corps, who serve on the Committee concurrently with their other duties. The remaining Committee members shall be appointed from among people with professional knowledge and experience in the fields of law, economics, finance and other fields relevant to the business of the Committee.Committee members belonging to the same political party shall not exceed half of the total number of Committee members. Each gender shall account for at least one-third of the total number of members.Members appointed pursuant to Paragraph 1 above shall serve a term of three years. Should a vacancy occur on the Committee, the term of the successor will expire on the original expiration date.
