New Immigrants Basic Act Article 16
When handling New Immigrant affairs, government agencies (organizations) shall allow New Immigrants to submit claims in their own languages and provide interpretation services in those languages when necessary.The government shall provide New Immigrants with language counseling services in public areas and implement other measures to create a language-friendly environment for New Immigrants. Those government agencies (organizations) with outstanding performance may be rewarded.

政府機關（構）處理新住民事務，應使新住民得以其語言陳述意見，必要時應提供該語言之通譯服務。
政府應於公共領域提供新住民語言諮詢等服務及其他落實新住民語言友善環境之措施；著有績效者，得予獎勵。
