For Committee members elected by Council Members, each of the four Divisions shall elect two appointed Council Members and one ex officio Council Member. If no ex officio Member exists in that Division, three appointed Council Members shall be elected.For Committee members elected by research staff and research specialists, one member shall be elected from each of the AS’ three Divisions: Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences.If a Committee member resigns or the position becomes vacant, the vacancy shall be filled based on the order of the original election results.

遴選委員由本院評議員分四組選舉產生者，各組評議員應選舉本組聘任評議員二人，當然評議員一人。
但該組無當然評議員者，選舉聘任評議員三人。
遴選委員由本院研究人員及研究技術人員選舉產生者，分為本院數理科學組、生命科學組、人文及社會科學組三組，每組各選舉一人擔任。
遴選委員辭職或出缺時，依前二項選舉結果依序遞補。
但該組無當然評議員者，選舉聘任評議員三人。
遴選委員由本院研究人員及研究技術人員選舉產生者，分為本院數理科學組、生命科學組、人文及社會科學組三組，每組各選舉一人擔任。
遴選委員辭職或出缺時，依前二項選舉結果依序遞補。
