Juvenile Justice Act Article 7
In selecting the president, presiding judge, and judges of the juvenile court, and the presiding judge, judges, and public defenders of the juvenile division of the High Court and its branches, apart from general qualifications, consideration shall be given to knowledge, experience and enthusiasm in juvenile protection of the candidates.The regulations for the selection of the president, presiding judge, and judges referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the Judicial Yuan.

少年法院院長、庭長及法官、高等法院及其分院少年法庭庭長及法官、公設輔佐人，除須具有一般之資格外，應遴選具有少年保護之學識、經驗及熱忱者充之。
前項院長、庭長及法官遴選辦法，由司法院定之。
