The court shall designate the date of the preliminary proceedings on which it shall summon the accused as well as notify the prosecutor, the defense attorney and the assistant of the accused to be present at the court.The court may, where it deems necessary, summon or notify the person concerned to be present at court on the date of preliminary proceedings.The preliminary proceedings may only be conducted with the presence of the prosecutor and the defense attorney.The summons or notification of the date of the first preliminary proceedings shall be served fourteen days before the said date at the latest.
