In a case chargeable only upon complaint, the complaint must be filed within six months from the day a person entitled to complain was aware of the identity of the offender.If one of several persons who may file a complaint delays beyond the prescribed period, such delay shall not affect another.Note: Articles 1 through 343 were amended lastly on February 6, 2003.

告訴乃論之罪，其告訴應自得為告訴之人知悉犯人之時起，於六個月內為之。
得為告訴之人有數人，其一人遲誤期間者，其效力不及於他人。
