REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS BY THE OVERSEAS CONSULAR OFFICIALS Article 2

Overseas consular officials (hereinafter referred to as “Consular Officials”) are officials assigned to the Republic of China (ROC) embassies, consulates, representative offices and/or other agencies authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ROC (hereinafter referred to as “Overseas Offices”) who are authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the ROC to conduct consular affairs. Consular Officials are entitled to the status of diplomatic and consular personnel, unless otherwise authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ROC.

本辦法所稱駐外領務人員（以下簡稱領務人員），係指派駐於中華民國駐外使領館、代表處、辦事處或其他經外交部授權機構（以下簡稱駐外館處），承辦領務之人員。
