The Notary Act Article 65

Civil notaries may apply for resignation. The Judicial Yuan shall discharge the civil notaries’ duties after a designated person takes over the objects or documents according to this Act.

民間之公證人得請求辭去職務，司法院於其依本法規定移交完畢後，解除其職務。
