The Notary Act Article 53

The supervisory agencies may issue the following orders to civil notaries:1. The agencies may order civil notaries to take due care of issues regarding their performance of notarial acts.2. The agencies may issue warnings to civil notaries if they have improper behavior that does not match with their positions. However, the agencies shall inform the notaries of the right to defend themselves before the warning is issued.

監督機關得對民間之公證人為下列行為：
一、關於職務上之事項，得發命令促其注意。
二、對有與其職位不相稱之行為者，加以警告。
但警告前，應通知該公證人得為申辯。
