Regulations on the Final Disposal of High Level Radioactive Waste and Safety Management of the Facilities Article 12
The design of the important structures, systems and components of disposal facilities shall meet the following requirements:1. Support inspection, maintenance and test, and meet the requirements for nuclear protection operations.2. Prevent expected natural disasters.3. Provided with emergency response functions.4. Ensure the operations of highly radioactive wastes can be kept at subcritical status under normal running and expected accidents.5. Provided with protective functions against fire and gas explosion.6. Other requirements specified by the competent authority.
中文原文 高放射性廢棄物最終處置及其設施安全管理規則第12條
高放處置設施之重要結構、系統及組件設計，應符合下列規定：
一、可進行檢查、維護及測試，並符合核子保防作業之要求。
二、防範可預期之天然災害。
三、具備意外事件緊急應變功能。
四、確保高放射性廢棄物之各項作業，於正常運作及預期意外事件時，均能維持次臨界狀態。
五、具有火災或氣爆之防護功能。
六、其他經主管機關指定之事項。
一、可進行檢查、維護及測試，並符合核子保防作業之要求。

三、具備意外事件緊急應變功能。
四、確保高放射性廢棄物之各項作業，於正常運作及預期意外事件時，均能維持次臨界狀態。
