Clearance waste (hereinafter abbr. as the waste)referred to in the regulations means solid radioactive waste excluding the following:1. Waste derived from naturally-occurring radioactive materials.2. 本辦法規定之一定活度或比活度以下放射性廢棄物(以下簡稱廢棄物)，指下列規定以外之固體放射性廢棄物：
一、天然放射性物質衍生之廢棄物。
二、經核子醫學診斷、治療之離院病患所產生之放射性廢棄物。
前項廢棄物之限值，依附表之規定。
