The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Drone Occurrence Article 2
The terms used in these Regulations are defined as follows:1. Major Aviation Occurrence: Any occurrence classified as specified within the Scope of Major Transportation Occurrences prescribed pursuant to Paragraph 2, Article 2 of the Act.2. Death: A person is fatally injured at the scene as a result of direct contact with any part of the drone, including parts which have become detached from the drone.3. Injury: An injury sustained by a person requires hospitalization for more than 48 hours, commencing within 7 days from the date the injury was received.4. Substantial Damage: Any damage to a drone that is beyond repair.5. Duty Officer: A Taiwan Transportation Safety Board (hereinafter referred to as “TTSB”) investigator assigned to 24-hour shifts responsible for receiving and notifications of reporting major aviation occurrences.6. Investigator-in-Charge: An investigator designated by the TTSB in accordance with the Act to lead and manage the investigation of a major aviation occurrence, and to appoint and establish the investigation task force; and direct major relevant investigations.7. Investigation Task Force: An ad hoc investigation team established and directed by the Investigator-in-Charge pursuant to the Act to carry out relevant tasks during investigation.

本規則用詞定義如下：
一、重大飛航事故：指依本法第二條第二項規定訂定之重大運輸事故之範圍所定遙控無人機重大飛航事故。
二、死亡：該人直接觸及遙控無人機之任何部位，包括自機體分離之部分，而當場死亡者。
三、傷害：指受傷後七日之內須住院治療四十八小時以上者。
四、實質損害：指遙控無人機損壞無法修復者。
五、值日官：指由運安會調查人員輪替擔任，二十四小時值勤，負責處理飛航事故通報作業之人員。
六、主任調查官：指重大飛航事故發生後，經運安會依本法指定負責調查作業之調查官。
七、專案調查小組：指由主任調查官依本法成立之調查任務編組，於調查期間，受主任調查官指揮，進行相關作業。
