The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Major Highway Occurrence Article 5
Upon receipt of any report, where necessary, the TTSB may designate an on-scene investigator to lead an on-scene team to the scene of the occurrence. The local government, the local fire department, the local police department, the vehicle owner and vehicle operator of the commercial automobile business or private large passenger vehicle, and other relevant authorities (agencies) shall assist the on-scene investigator as necessary.

運安會接獲通報後，認有必要時，得先行任命現場調查官，率領先遣小組至事故現場。
