The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Major Highway Occurrence Article 11
In the event of a major highway occurrence or a suspected major highway occurrence, the site's management authority (agency) shall preserve the integrity of the scene. If any of the following situations are likely to occur, the site's management authority (agency) shall request permission from the Investigator-in-Charge to clear the scene when necessary:1. Severe impact on the flow of traffic and road safety.2. Further damage to the wreckage3. Occurrence of secondary disasters.4. Injury to the general public.5. Environmental pollution.
中文原文 重大公路事故調查作業處理規則第11條
重大公路事故或疑似重大公路事故發生後，事故現場管理機關應維持事故現場之完整，有下列情形之一發生之虞者，應與主任調查官協商後對事故現場進行必要之清理：
一、對道路交通順暢及安全有重大影響。
二、殘骸受到二度破壞。
三、發生二次災害。
四、一般民眾受到傷害。
五、環境污染。
