Where the fee payer overpays or makes fee payments that are not required, said fee payer may apply for a refund by submitting concrete proof to the NCC within five years of the date the payment was made.Refunds, as referred to in the previous paragraph, shall include interest on the fee payment amount based on the number of days from the date the fee payer made payment to the date on which the NCC approved the refund request, calculated using the 1-year fixed-term savings account interest rate offered by the Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd.

繳費義務人有溢繳、誤繳許可費之情事者，得於繳費之日起五年內提出具體證明，向本會申請退還。
前項退費，應自繳費義務人繳納之日起，至本會核准退費之日止，按退費額，依繳費之日中華郵政股份有限公司之一年期定期存款利率，按日加計利息，一併退還。
