System operators shall arrange at least one local channel, which provides local residents the programs that conform to their interest and demand in areas designated by the central regulatory agency.Operators of abovementioned local channels shall obtain satellite channel program business or other channel program business license in accordance with the Satellite Broadcasting Act.

系統經營者應至少規劃一個以上地方頻道，提供符合中央主管機關指定區域內民眾利益及需求之節目。
經營前項地方頻道者，應依衛星廣播電視法之規定取得衛星頻道節目供應事業或他類頻道節目供應事業執照。
