Regulations for Qualifying and Hiring Telecommunications Engineers and the Management of Telecommunications Engineering Enterprises Article 9
The registration of telecommunication engineering enterprises shall be categorized into class A, B, and C, the operating ranges of which shall be as follows:Class A telecommunication engineering enterprise: conducts installation, maintenance, and construction of the interconnection of the telecommunications equipment between telecommunications enterprises and of the main distribution equipment in a switching office of the telecommunications enterprise to subscribers’ terminal equipment;Class B telecommunication engineering enterprise: conducts installation, maintenance, and construction of main distribution equipment in switching offices of telecommunications enterprises to the subscribers’ terminal equipment;Class C telecommunication engineering enterprise: conducts installation, maintenance, and construction within the demarcation point of responsibility of the subscriber’s property.

電信工程業之登記分甲、乙、丙三級；其從事工程範圍規定如下：
一、甲級電信工程業：從事連接電信事業間電信設備互連，及電信事業交換機房總配線設備至用戶建築物內之用戶終端設備間之電信設備施工及維護工程者。
二、乙級電信工程業：從事連接電信事業交換機房總配線設備至用戶建築物內之用戶終端設備間之電信設備施工及維護工程者。
三、丙級電信工程業：從事用戶建築物責任分界點以內之電信設備施工及維護工程者。
一、甲級電信工程業：從事連接電信事業間電信設備互連，及電信事業交換機房總配線設備至用戶建築物內之用戶終端設備間之電信設備施工及維護工程者。
