The telecommunications facilities installed by an operator shall meet the telecommunications equipment technical requirements.The telecommunications facility technical requirements as referred to in the preceding Paragraph shall be promulgated by the competent authority.The telecommunications terminal equipment provided by a local network business operator to users to connect to the multimedia content transporting platform shall comply with the “Technical Specifications for Set-Top Boxes for Multimedia Content Distribution Platform on a Fixed Telecommunications Network” promulgated in accordance with Paragraph 1 of Article 42 of the Regulations.

經營者設置之電信設備，應符合電信設備技術規範。
前項電信設備技術規範，由主管機關定之。
市內網路業務經營者提供用戶連接多媒體內容傳輸平臺之電信終端設備，自一百零八年一月一日起，應依本法第四十二條第一項授權訂定之固定通信多媒體內容傳輸平臺機上盒技術規範審驗合格。
