The household registration data used for calculation of the period of residence referred to in Paragraph 2, Article 8 of the Act shall be carefully examined by the government agencies of household registration, and any false registration of immigration shall be handled according to law.For calculation of the period of residence referred to in the preceding Paragraph, if emigration registration is recorded in the household registration document 20 days before the polling day and the emigration is cancelled in accordance with the provisions of the Household Registration Act less than 20 days before the polling day, the period of residence shall not be calculated continuously.
