Referendum Act Article 33
Any person who, with the intent to obstruct a referendum, uses violence or duress against a civil servant performing his/her lawful duties shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than five years.A person who commits the offense specified in the preceding paragraph and thereby causes the death of a civil servant shall be sentenced to life imprisonment or imprisonment for not less than seven years; if serious injury is inflicted, the offender shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not less than three years but not more than ten years.
中文原文 公民投票法第33條
意圖妨害公民投票，對於公務員依法執行職務時，施強暴、脅迫者，處五年以下有期徒刑。
犯前項之罪，因而致公務員於死者，處無期徒刑或七年以上有期徒刑；致重傷者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑。
