Referendum Act Article 23
The competent authority shall hold the referendum between three and six months after the announcement that the referendum proposal has been established. If a nationwide election takes place within this period, the referendum shall be held on the same day.The referendum day shall be a holiday.

主管機關應於公民投票案公告成立後三個月起至六個月內舉行公民投票，該期間內有全國性選舉時，應與該選舉同日舉行。
