Regulations Governing the Licensing of Images and Publications of the National Palace Museum Article 12
NPM may claim compensation for the damage from any party using images or printing publications from NPM without applying for license or acquiring prior consent of NPM in advance. Depending on the severity of the matter, the amount of compensation may range from 3 to 10 times of the royalties or 30 to 50 times of the total value of such products investigated.NPM may consider minimizing the amount of compensation once the applicant resubmits cited royalties for his or her prior unauthorized use of images or printing publications, which are in possession of NPM.

若未向本院提出申請或未經本院同意即擅行使用本院藏品圖像或盜版印刷時，本院得依法請求損害賠償，且得視違規情節輕重請求支付權利金三至十倍或查獲商品總價三十至五十倍數額之賠償金。
擅行使用本院藏品圖像或盜版印刷者於繳交權利金後，向本院補提申請者，本院得酌情按最低標準計罰賠償金。
