Regulations Governing Foreign Exchange Business of Banking Enterprises Article 43
(Interbank Transactions)An authorized bank may purchase or sell foreign exchange on the foreign exchange market or with the Bank, and may also hold long or short positions within the limits set by itself.An authorized bank participating in the interbank foreign exchange market shall comply with the rules formulated by the Foundation with reference to international customs after coordination with Bankers Association and reporting to the Bank.

指定銀行得向外匯市場或本行買入或賣出外匯，亦得在自行訂定額度內持有買超或賣超部位。
指定銀行參與銀行間外匯市場，應遵循基金會洽商銀行公會後，依國際慣例所定並報經本行備查之交易規範。
