Regulations Governing the Issuance of Gold and Silver Coins and Commemorative Notes and Coins Article 5
The theme, denomination, composition, form, and design of gold and silver coins, and commemorative notes and coins issued shall be prepared and determined by the Central Bank of China, and shall be submitted to the Executive Yuan for approval.The theme as prescribed in the preceding paragraph is limited to important ceremonies or holidays of our country, major international events hosted by our country, or other events of special significance for our country.

金銀幣及紀念性券幣之發行主題、面額、成分、形式及圖案，由中央銀行擬定，報行政院核定之。
前項發行主題，以國家重大慶典、重要節日、舉辦著名國際性活動或國家其他具有特殊紀念意義之事蹟為限。
