The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Act Article 36
The Bank shall effect the business of the National Treasury and manage the National Treasury's as well as the Central Governmental agencies' cash accounts, bills, securities, including receipts and payments, safekeeping and transfers, and the safekeeping of their other asset documents.The Bank may delegate, whenever necessary, the business mentioned above to other financial institutions in places where the Bank has no branch office.

本行經理國庫業務，經管國庫及中央政府各機關現金、票據、證券之出納、保管、移轉及財產契據之保管事務。
前項業務，在本行未設分支機構地點，必要時得委託其他金融機構辦理。
