Organization Act of Civil Service Development Institute, Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan Article 2
The Institute’s operations and functions are stated as following:1.Execution of the on-the-job training development of senior civil servants of the agencies subordinated to the Executive Yuan and local agencies;2.Execution of important policies and research on laws & regulations of the Executive Yuan;3.Execution of personnel training of the agencies subordinated to the Executive Yuan and local agencies;4.Execution of the civil service e-learning and lifelong learning of the agencies subordinated to the Executive Yuan and local agencies;5.Planning and execution of the cooperation and exchange with related domestic/foreign training development organizations;6.Research on management and development of civil service resources;7.Consultation and guidance of civil service training of the agencies subordinated to the Executive Yuan and local agencies;8.Other matters related to training and development of civil servants of the agencies subordinated to the Executive Yuan and local agencies.

四、行政院所屬機關與地方機關公務人力數位學習及終身學習之執行。
五、國內外訓練發展相關組織交流合作之規劃及執行。
六、公務人力資源管理及發展之研究。
七、行政院所屬機關與地方機關公務人力訓練之諮詢及輔導。
八、其他有關行政院所屬機關與地方機關公務人員之訓練及發展事項。
