Statistics Act Article 19
Agencies must properly keep and fully use relevant statistical documents and data to carry out official functions.The documents and data mentioned in the preceding Paragraph, if pertaining to individual information obtained through statistical surveys, shall be kept confidentially and not be used for any purpose other than statistics, unless the respondent has given a written consent during the implementation period of that statistical survey.

各機關之統計相關文件及資料，應妥善保管，並充分提供該機關執行公務運用。
前項文件及資料屬統計調查取得之個別資料者，應予保密，除供統計目的之用外，不得作為其他用途。
但統計調查實施期間經當事人書面同意者，不在此限。
