Hakka Basic Act Article 11
The government shall fund the establishment of a Hakka Language Research and Development Center, which will conduct the research and development, accreditation, and popularization of the Hakka language, and will construct a useful Hakka language corpus. The Center is to aim at the preservation and inheritance of the Hakka language and cultivation of talent Hakka speakers. Its establishment and other relevant matters shall be specified by separate Act.The regulations for accreditation in the Hakka language as given in the preceding paragraph shall be formulated by the Hakka Affairs Council.

政府應捐助設立財團法人客家語言研究發展中心，辦理客語研究發展、認證與推廣，並建立完善客語資料庫等，積極鼓勵客語復育傳承及人才培育；其設置及相關事項，另以法律定之。
