Marine Pollution Control Act Article 29
When necessary, the port management authority or enforcement authority may, in conjunction with the competent authority, examine the marine pollution prevention certificates or verification documents, Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan, operation manuals, Oil Record Book, Cargo Record Book, Garbage Record Book and other designated documents of each authority. The inspected person shall not evade, hinder or refuse the inspection.

港口管理機關或執行機關於必要時，得會同主管機關查驗船舶之海洋污染防止證明書或證明文件、船上污染應急程序、操作手冊、油、貨紀錄簿、員工生活垃圾紀錄簿及其他經各該機關指定之文件；受檢者不得規避、妨礙或拒絕。
