Organization Act of the Ocean Affairs Council Article 7
The ranks, grades and number of positions of the Council’s staff shall be governed by a separate organization chart.No more than one half of the positions listed in the organization chart mentioned in the preceding Paragraph may be staffed with policemen and military personnel with equivalent ranks and the customs officers who were transferred to the predecessor of the Council due to transference of business in 2000.

本會各職稱之官等職等及員額，另以編制表定之。
前項編制表列有官等職等之人員，得在不逾編制員額二分之一範圍內，就官階相當之警察、軍職人員及民國八十九年隨業務移撥之關務人員派充之。
