When ownership of an insured automobile is transferred, a contract for this insurance or amendment thereof shall be executed first.The insurer shall be liable for any accident occurring within the original policy period even if the amendment of the insurance contract not yet executed. The insurer, however, may require the assignee to complete the procedures for amendment.

被保險汽車所有權移轉時，應先辦理本保險契約之訂立或變更手續。
未辦妥保險契約變更手續而於原保險有效期間內發生汽車交通事故時，保險人仍負給付保險金之責任。
但得要求受讓人補辦保險契約變更手續。
